Melanie Alberts is a widely published Japanese short form poet whose haiga appears in the Haiku Foundation galleries. An accredited medium, she began developing her mediumship in 2012 and realized that the faces she had drawn since childhood were departed souls, recognizable to their loved ones. As a psychic artist, she uses a pendulum to create one-of-a-kind intention and sigil art readings, offered by donation. Trained in interspecies telepathic communication, Melanie also volunteers at Healing with Horses Ranch, an equine-assisted therapy ranch near Austin, Texas.
